Our conversations provide clarity

I began working with Bethany Ward about 4 years ago. At that time, I was struggling with a divorce from a long-time marriage to an alcoholic and still felt lingering unease from childhood wounds, discrimination at work and not having fully grieved the deaths of loved ones. During these 4 years, I have had to deal with unhealthy work relationships, early retirement, and the isolation caused by covid. Bethany’s use of the enneagram has helped me to understand both my strengths and weaknesses. Bethany understands a variety of faith traditions and has been well suited to help someone like me whose spirituality includes Judeo-Christian, Buddhist, and Native American influences. I always had been spiritual, but Bethany has helped me find ways to incorporate spirituality in my daily life. Our conversations provide clarity and help me to transform anger and other negative feelings to love and prayerful hope. I now use spirituality and my deepened self-knowledge to solve my problems. Bethany is wise, insightful, caring and an attentive listener. She treats me with kindness, respect and as an individual. I am grateful for her presence in my life, and I look forward to our monthly sessions.
